Consuela has come to the shelter because her home was becoming unsafe for an elderly lady. She has come to find a more appropriate retirement villa.
Consuela is a darling older lady who just wants to be loved. She needs lots of affection and company and can be quite vocal when she's not receiving it! Consuela loves pick-up cuddles, warm laps, and being groomed. She also enjoys sleeping with her person at night but may need steps to get up to the bed as her mobility is limited. Consuela has been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and is on daily medication to manage this.
Due to her age and medical needs Consuela is part of our Care for Life foster program.
