Nutmeg (Meggy) has come to the shelter because her caregivers were moving back to the UK. She was originally adopted from us back in 2017.

Nutmeg is a sweet girl but can become stressed easily. She likes routine and a calm environment, and can suffer with UTI's when the stress gets too much for her. She is affectionate on her terms, and prefers gentle pats and chin rubs. Nutmeg has been used to having outdoor access, although she never goes far from the home. Her favourite thing is to sit on the windowsill and watch over her territory. She will do best in a very quiet home with 1-2 adults and no other pets. She also finds it stressful when neighbourhood cats come on her territory so it will need to be a relatively cat free neighbourhood.

Due to Nutmeg's age she is part of our Care for Life foster program.
