Whistle -- Searching for "the one"

Handsome black, medium-haired Whistle is just over 6 years of age. He came into our care as he was fighting with his brother in the home, frightened of the children ( so would stay outside) and his owner was frightened he may fall on top of the new baby. Whistle is also terrified of dogs. Mostly outdoors during the day, possibly to avoid the noise and stress of the house, (though he does love to explore gardens) he slept inside on the couch. 

Closely bonded to one person, he takes time to get to know you but when he does he is affectionate and super smoochy. He loves very strong head tickles and being groomed but isn't keen on being picked up and also gets bitey if you try to stroke down by his tail ( not uncommon in many cats!)
