Fergus has come to the shelter because his elderly owner was unable to manage his health care.
Fergus is a friendly and affectionate cat with a big appetite! He loves to be near or around his people, often sneaking up behind you when you least expect it. He's a handsome fellow who loves to be picked up and cuddled, just as much as he loves a lap to snooze in.
Since coming to the shelter, Fergus has been found to have arthritis, and some issues with bladder stones which he is on a special diet and medication to manage. Fergus sometimes gets a little confused and spacey which will need to be monitored, but really just adds to his charm.
He has lived with a dog with no issues, and gets along with most people he meets, and does not mind other cats at all. He was most recently kept indoors only but had previously had outdoor access, we are unsure of the timeframe.
Due to Fergus's age and health needs he is part of our Care for Life foster program.
