Stripes was a long-term stray who picked the right person's doorstep to arrive on. He was not in great health, and his carer was amazing at getting him veterinary care, but was not able to give him a permanent home.
From his time at the shelter, we know that he is a nervous lad and very wary of strangers. He is a lover, not a fighter, and when he feels safe is a big smoochy gentleman with the strongest purr! He isn't the biggest fan of other cats, so he would be best suited to a home where he is the only pet.
His age is the best guess based on his general health. Stripes is hyperthyroid, and as a former stray, is very shy of strangers. We know very little about him, but he is likely to do best in a quiet adult-only home with no other pets.
