Chareth -- Independent, elegant lady

Chareth, an elegant black and white lady of almost 12 years, has come into our care as she wasn't coping with a busy household that included 2 young children and a dog. Chareth had become nippy with the children, and though she was described as having always been an independent cat, she was hiding away a lot more. There have been a couple of house moves in the last wee while, and the family are looking to relocate again soon to a home that already has a cat, and they felt that Chareth wouldn't cope with this.

Chareth really doesn't like other cats or dogs and would be happiest in a home without either, or children, but when she feels safe, she likes strokes down her back, sitting on laps and head tickles. She also enjoys playing with toys and is a hunter of rodents.

She is looking for a quiet home where she can make her own decisions and feel safe in a warm lounge!
