Porge -- Strapping lad
5-10 years
9 years | Male | Medical foster | Nervous | Snuggle-bug | Outdoor adventurer
Porge was returned to the shelter as his new home didn't work out due to bully neighborhood cats causing him a lot of stress, triggering UTI's, peeing inside and numerous cases of a blocked bladder.
Porge originally came to us with his 2 other cat friends as his owner had to leave the country due to unforeseen circumstances.
Porge is a strapping lad who loves going on adventures outside and would love a home with a lot of safe bush to play as his previous home was semi-rural. Porge can be quite independent but also loves attention from his human and will happily snuggle beside you, sleep on your feet and keep you company. Porge is prone to putting on weight and struggles with UTI's.
Porge strongly dislikes other cats, so would be best suited to a home with no other pets and (in a perfect world) far from other neighbourhood cats. He has had no exposure to dogs or children, but could be ok with teenage children. Porge loves the outdoors, so should be homed to a safe neighbourhood and has caught rabbits, mice and rats in the past.
Porge is a medical foster due to his anxiety-based bladder issues, which may cause cystitis. There is no fee for fostering him.
