Mehli -- Shy but sweet

Mehli (4yo female) has come to us as her elderly owner had to go into care, and sadly extended family could no longer help care for her.
Mehli is a very timid girl and takes quite a long time to warm up to new people. However, once you gain her confidence, she does like pats and head tickles and will sit on your lap.
She is frightened of sudden loud noises and movements, so it would be best for her to go to a home without children or other pets. Ideally, Mehli would like a home with a single person to slowly gain trust with.
Mehli has been described as a big outdoorsy girl, so it is important that she has indoor/outdoor access. She is a hunter of mice and lizards.
