Miss Scarlet has sadly been surrendered as her family is moving cities, and were also finding her care costs difficult to manage now that she is very much a senior lady.
As with many senior cats, Miss Scarlet has an overactive thyroid. She is on daily medication for this, administered via an ear gel, which she is very happy to have applied. In her younger days, she was a hunter of all things, but no longer supplements her diet this way, and is currently rather underweight.
Miss Scarlet loves a good scratch on her neck and behind her ears, and believes there is nothing better than a good ear clean with a warm cloth. She mostly prefers indoor life now, but does potter out to do a little exploring. She is used to having someone home most of the time and likes you to be in close proximity. She also likes to sleep on the bed at night and sit on your lap.
A quiet home with no young children or other pets would be ideal for this lovely lady who still occasionally has a little play with toys.
