King -- From colony, to harmony

King was once the patriarch of a large cat colony in Upper Hutt. He landed in the hands of a rescue in Wellington, where he met Megan, who fell in love with him, and they have now come to CPW to find their forever home.

This tuxedo dude has been described as a gentle giant and an old soul who is initially mistrusting and shy, but after some time, is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle. He is FIV+, so he must live as an indoor-only cat. We have been told he likes lying in the sun, being brushed and cuddling with his partner Megan, who will also groom him so he is always looking snazzy.

King will do best in a quiet home with routine and patient owners. He likes other cats, apparently is ok around dogs, but we think the pair would be too shy for young children/families.

King is a medical foster due to his FIV status.
