Karen -- No other cats, please!

Karen was surrendered to our care when she made it clear to her owners that she would rather be an only cat. She had always played roughly with her housemate, but things intensified when some new kittens moved in next door. In an attempt to keep both her and their other cat safe and happy, her owners made the tough call to rehome her.

Being only 5 and a half years old, Karen has some attitude and plenty of energy. She is good with adults and children as long as the affection is on her terms. She prefers to come to you in her own time rather than being picked up, but will quite happily curl up in a lap if one is on offer. One of her favourite things to do is find a nice plush blanket and settle down for a nap.

Karen is looking for a home with safe outdoor access and sensible humans. As she doesn't play nice with other cats, she must be the only cat in the house and would prefer if there were few (or better yet, none at all!) cats nearby.
