Silver was surrendered to our care as there is an unfriendly dog in the home, and as Silver has aged, the risk of the dog hurting him is becoming too great.
Silver is currently on medication to manage his hyperthyroidism. Previous vet notes indicate there may also be arthritic changes, and he has quite restricted vision (though his blood pressure is ok).
Foodwise, Silver is on a specific diet (Hypoallergenic biscuits and a small amount of Kangaroo Jimbo's).
Silver, we are told, is fine with children, especially older ones now as his health declines, and he is also comfortable around other cats. He loves people! And will happily accept pats, being groomed, strokes down his back and is fine to be picked up once he knows you.
Less active now, Silver needs a warm spot and will need to be an indoor-only cat due to his eyesight issues.
