Smudgie -- Double the smooch

Smudgie and his housemate Smoke travelled to NZ in late 2025 from Australia. When their owners circumstances changed and they had to move back to Aus, they couldn't take the boys with them. Smoke and Smudgie found a home at that time but aren't getting along well with the resident cat, so are now looking for a new home.
Smudgie is the shier of the two cats and likes to watch from around corners or behind curtains until he is sure of his surroundings. Once he feels safe, though, he is even snugglier than Smoke, seeking people out for pats. Smudgie likes taking advantage of vertical space and would appreciate a cat tower or shelves to explore in his new house.
Smudgie and Smoke must be adopted together. They have been indoor only their whole lives, so are looking to continue living a safe life indoors. They would prefer not to be around children and definitely do not want to live with other cats.
