Amos -- Truly beautiful baby

Amos has had a rough start to life. He was found living in a garden in an area known for having many stray and abandoned cats. He couldn't stay where he was, so he was trapped and taken to a vet to be checked over, where it was discovered that his teeth were in awful condition and one of his eyes was badly injured. His rescuer and the team at the vet could see there was a lovely cat underneath his rough exterior and went ahead with the treatment he required. Now that he is feeling better, Amos has come to us to look for his forever home.
This beautiful boy is understandably slow to trust people, but he will make the most loyal companion with time and patience. He won't actively seek out affection just yet, but is quite happy to stay put if placed on your lap for some gentle pats. There is also a playful side waiting to come out; he often throws his toys around overnight, but isn't quite brave enough yet to do this when people are around. He especially enjoys catnip and silvervine toys.
Amos is looking for a stable home, preferably with no children. He is used to being outside but has quite enjoyed his indoor time during recovery from surgery. Amos does not like living with other cats.
