When Gem went missing a few years ago, her family thought they would never see her again. After some time, they decided to welcome a new furry friend to the family. Gem was eventually found and rejoined the family, but despite their best efforts over quite a prolonged period, Gem has made it clear she would rather be the only cat.
Gem is a very friendly girl who loves pats and enjoys company. She is still young at heart and likes to play with toys and go hunting. She is good with older children but hasn't been around young ones for a few years. She has previously tolerated a dog.
Gem is looking for a new home where she can be the star of the show. While she had lived with other cats in her younger years, the interactions between her and the latest cat have been less than ideal and resulted in some territorial spraying. Gem must be the only cat in the house and would be more comfortable if there were no other cats in the immediate vicinity. While she enjoys company, she isn't too bothered if her people are out at work during the day, as long as they give her a snuggle when they get home.
