Smoke and his housemate Smudgie travelled to NZ in late 2025 from Australia. When their owners circumstances changed and they had to move back to Aus, they couldn't take the boys with them. Smoke and Smudgie found a new home at that time but aren't getting along well with the resident cat, so are now looking for a new home.
Smoke is very affectionate and loves a snuggle. He loves playing, particularly with little balls that rattle or have a bell inside. Smoke can be a bit unsure about heights and would prefer to settle somewhere more secure, like on the couch with his person.
Smoke and Smudgie must be adopted together. They have been indoor only their whole lives, so are looking to continue living a safe life indoors. They would prefer not to be around children and definitely do not want to live with other cats.
